About Morgan
I'm Morgan Hochstetler, a photographer and creative director with nearly two decades behind the camera. Since 2007, I've focused on capturing authentic moments — whether that's a live music set, an engagement, or a creative portrait session.
Over the last few years, the work has widened. I was on the team behind the launch of Saving Aziz for Mighty Oaks Foundation, editing video that ran on nationally syndicated television and managing social for the author. The campaign landed 74 national interviews in 30 days and sold more than 35,000 books.
As Creative Director for a national mental health nonprofit, I rebuilt the brand and grew its YouTube channel from 25,000 subscribers to 293,000 — 67.7 million views on the channel, more than 600 million across platforms, and a Silver Play Button. I've built a LinkedIn presence from nothing for a Houston building consultancy, and I produce video for a fundraising coach whose clients have raised tens of thousands in a week.
My approach is relaxed but intentional. I want every image to reflect the personality and story of the person in front of the lens, and every piece of content to sound like the people it came from. Photography taught me to see detail; creative direction taught me to see the whole arc.
When I'm not shooting or editing, you'll probably find me exploring new music, spending time with my wife, or planning the next project.
Let's create something that lasts, is true to you, and is built to stand the test of time.
